Baan Khanitha restaurant is a tastes of Thai cuisine, there are four branches in Bangkok. The first branch is locate on Sukhumvit 23, this is the place to find decent traditional Thai food.

I took some of my foreigners friends to Baan Khanitha restaurant in Asiatique riverfront, I choosen this place because I would like to show them around Chaopraya River. We took a shuttle boat from “Sapantaksin pier” about 5 minutes to get there. You might need to call them earlier to make a reservation as they are quite busy especially during the weekend.

We start our dinner with 2 recommended soup “Tomyam kung” and “Tomkha kai” they are so great, for my taste I love the spicy “Tomyam Kung” so much, and all of my friends said the same thing about “TomKha kai” they love it! We ordered some more food “Fried mix vegetable”   “Chicken with Cashew nuts” and a big plate of mix grill seafood.

This was very impress for my foreigners friends, I so happy that they love the food even some of my friends are not keen for hot spicy food but they are totally love it. This is the recommended place for you to take some friend who have never try Thai food before, I’m sure they will love it just like my friends do.
