Krabi
Krabi province is in Southern Thailand. It is well known scuba diving destination in Thailand, as Krabi is surrounded by 130 large and small islands, the water is clear and clean. The main diving places for the many sites in the Krabi area are Ao Nang and Railay beaches.
I flew from Don-mueang airport about 1.20 hrs to get to Krabi airport. From there I took a bus 150 THB/ per person to Ao nang beach. I stayed at Ao Nang sunset hotel 900 THB / night which is not a bad deal, only 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the beach.
My first day plan was to explore the emerald pool and hot-spring; I got a package from the outlet near by hotel. There was a minivan come to pick up right at my hotel.
The first drop was in hot spring, the water here comes from thermal springs, originating deep underground in volcanic chambers. And our tour group stopped here for about 2 hrs.
The next stop for our group tour was the Emerald pool or what we call “Sra morakot” in Thai. The beauty of emerald color made me want to jump in to swim in it with my bikinis.
Finally we walked up about 600 meters to “Blue pool”
